32 marathons in 32 days - that's the lofty challenge Gerry Duffy and Ken Whitelaw have set themselves. Staring on 2nd July, the pair are going to attempt to run an amazing 32 marathons in 32 consecutive days in the 32 counties of Ireland to raise funds for charity, a completely unique challenge never before tried in Ireland. IMRA Season off to a start at Ticknock

The Irish Mountain Running Association got their year off to a start yesterday at Ticknock following the postponment of the Howth race scheduled for earlier in the month due to the adverse weather conditions. The race was the first of the Winter League and consisted of 10.2km crossing Three-Rock and rounding Fairy Castle. DEBRA Ireland Wicklow Mountains Half Marathon

The annual DEBRA Ireland Wicklow Mountains Half Marathon will take place on the 21st March 2010, with all proceeds from the event going to those living with the rare genetic skin condition epidermolysis bullosa (EB).
