Are you Tough enough to Run The Gauntlet?

onward_to_brendans_cottage_resizeRun the Gauntlet is a half-marathon event through the scenic Gap of Dunloe and is open to walkers and runners. The race takes place on Sunday 17 November 2013 with a 9am start.

This unique race was voted 30 out of the ‘Top 50 Outdoor Events in 2011’ by Outsider Magazine.

All finishers will get a special medal with the profile of the route carved into the top of it and the mark of Tyr on the front – the ancient god of single combat, victory and heroic glory! All finishers will also receive custom made t-shirts.

Only the bravest finishers under 2 hours will receive a special coveted prize black t-shirt. All those finishing in under 1 hour and 45 minutes will receive a special red t-shirt.

There are complimentary post-event massages for all participants available at the finish; along with a choice of tea and soup, provided by Kate Kearney’s Cottage.
