The Clare Outdoor Club is celebrating its 30 year anniversary with an information evening and photo exhibition on Wednesday 16th September from 7.30pm in the Old Ground Hotel, Ennis.

All current and past members and anyone interested in finding out more about the club are welcome to attend.

The evening will include details of the upcoming Try-A-Hike which is an opportunity for non-members to experience hill walking. The Try-A-Hike route will give a flavour of the incredible scenery and unspoilt landscape that can only be seen when you leave the car behind and pull on a pair of walking boots.

The Try-A-Hike will take place on Saturday 3rd October. While a reasonable level of fitness is required there will be a pace to suit everyone. Further details on the Try-A-Hike and the Clare Outdoor Club are available from www.clareoutdoorclub.net.

The 30 year anniversary information evening is an opportunity for past members to re-live adventures all over the island of Ireland and on the many overseas trips; it’s also a chance for new and prospective members to be inspired. All are welcome!
