Are you looking for a new challenge for 2014? Why not consider signing up for Southern Area Hospice Services 4 Peaks Challenge? The 4 Peaks Challenge, which will take place from the 5th to the 9th June 2014, will see a group of adventurous souls attempt to climb the highest peak in each of Ireland’s four provinces over one weekend to raise funds for Southern Area Hospice Services.
On their expedition, challengers will scale Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil in Co.Kerry, followed by Mweelrea in Co.Mayo, Slieve Donard in Co. Down, before completing the challenge with Lugnaquilla in Co. Wicklow – no mean feat.
Tracey Muldoon, Regional Marketing Officer for Southern Area Hospice Services, encouraged people to sign up saying, “Climbing the four peaks of Ireland in one weekend certainly presents a tough challenge. It also offers people the chance to get fit, meet new people and reach their goals, whilst at the same time raising vital funds for Southern Area Hospice Services – sign up today to support the Hospice and be part of what promises to an amazing trip. We will give you every assistance with your fundraising and hold regular meetings to help you get ready for an exhilarating weekend.”
Participants taking part in the Southern Area Hospice Services 4 Peaks Challenge are asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of £150 to secure their place and then raise a minimum sponsorship of £1150, which covers coach transfers, overnight accommodation as well as breakfast and dinner during the challenge.
