We ran a piece previously about magnificent Croaghaun on Achill Island. The mountain is perched on the western edge of Ireland with the summit practically hanging over the Atlantic Ocean. Due to the near ever-present clouds at the summit, it’s a tough mountain to climb.
However, if you get the conditions, it is an amazing and unforgettable experience.
We’d love to hear from anyone who has climbed Croaghaun. In the meantime, here’s a few photos from our climb to give you a small feel for the mountain.
