Donegal‘s First Annual Wild Atlantic Way Walking Week will take place from Sunday 08th June – Thursday 12th June 2014.
As Donegal is the starting point of one of Europe’s longest driving routes known as The Wild Atlantic Way, this Annual Event has been created to showcase County Donegal as an ideal destination for walking enthusiasts of all ages and levels to experience the raw natural beauty this coastline has to offer.
This event will commence with an informal get together on Sunday Evening to give all the walkers an opportunity to get to know each other and familiarise themselves with what Donegal Town and the surrounding area has to offer.
Each group will register and be introduced to their trained guides who will accompany them through the wonderful experiences which they are about to embark on.
There will be four levels of walks each day ranging from challenging hill walks approx 6- 7 hours duration to a more leisurely walk approx 2 hours where you can savour the Flora & Fauna and Local History of the area in which you will be walking.
Full details of each daily walk are available at http://www.abbeyhoteldonegal.com/?p=7770
We are offering a special limited offer 20% discount to all Walking & Hiking Ireland readers/members that book before the end of May. Contact Oisin at firstname.lastname@example.org.
