The Dingle Walking Festival 2013 will take place on the weekend of February 15th, 16th and 17th.
From mountainous terrains, to exquisite valleys, framed by vast coastal expanses with the Atlantic ocean lapping at its feet, the Dingle Peninsula (or Corca Dhuibhne as it is know ‘as Gaeilge’) was once described by National Geographic as ‘the most beautiful place on Earth.’
It is a deserved title indeed and as a consequence it is one of the premier walking destinations in the world. This natural paradise, a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) area by heritage, is lauded the world over for its immense landscapes and breathtaking scenery.
