Whether you’re a seasoned hill walker or more of an ‘arm chair’ athlete looking for a fun way to get active, the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Northern Ireland have got just the challenge for you.
The MS Society annual Slieve Donard Dander will take place on Sunday 19th August and offers a great way for all the family to get active and help the society to beat MS (Multiple sclerosis). Their expert guides will lead you up the Glen River Trail and through the Forest to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The day will be rounded off with a well earned BBQ at Donard Park.
Multiple Sclerosis is the most common debilitating neurological disease in the UK affecting more than 4000 people in Northern Ireland. As well as providing information, advice, emotional and practical support the MS Society funds vital world-class research to make sure local people with MS have the treatments and services they need, until we find a cure. They rely on donations to fund their services.
All the funds raised at the MS Society Slieve Donard Dander will be used to fund their work with families affected by MS throughout Northern Ireland so why not come along and help to Beat MS?
