IPA Hiking Club visit the Cooley Mountains

66 members of the IPA hiking club took a visit to Slieve Foy in Carlingford this weekend. The group consisted of 37 in the A group and 29 in the beginners group.

Both groups were treated to clear skies and a dry day with just some mist on summit.

Sieve Foye starts at sea level so it was a tough but very enjoyable hike for both the A and B groups.

Many thanks to the IPA Hiking Club for sharing these photos with us. The Club has been set up to promote Hiking, within the IPA Membership, for both serving and retired members of An Garda Siochana.
