Mount ErrigalDerek Watters from Carlingford and Rab McBride from Lurgan are among the Hospice walkers preparing for their Annual Autumn Walk on Saturday 12th October. This year the group will head south to Mount Errigal in Donegal near Glenveagh National Park. There are a few remaining places available and we encourage you to sign up and support your local Hospice.

Why not take part in a walk up Mount Errigal in Donegal, the tallest peak of the Derrybeagh Mountain in the Northwest of Ireland a height of 749 metres. Errigal is also the most southern, steepest and highest of the mountain chain, called the “Seven Sisters” by locals. The walk includes overnights stay in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny were you can relax and enjoy a meal at the restaurant and a nights craic with our fellow walkers. With a visit to Glenveagh National Park & Castle on Sunday.

Last year’s walk in Wicklow was a great success raising over £5,000 towards hospice care services, which was a fantastic boost to funds. Participants are asked to pay a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure your place and raise a minimum sponsorship of £200 which covers dinner, bed & breakfast and transport. Sponsor cards available on registration. We hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be a great weekend.
