Run the Line 2012 – in aid of Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team

Run the Line is a charity trail race organised by, and in aid of, the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team. It takes place on 6th October 2012 and is aimed at both the seasoned hill-runner and those runners who want to give the hills a try. A choice of two routes – one long at 28km, the other shorter at 13km, both finishing in the same place – caters for everyone.

The participant will enjoy views of the Dublin Mountains overlooking Dublin City, as well as experiencing the invigoration of running through beautiful pine forests, all the while knowing that the Dublin & Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team is close at hand to cater for any eventuality. Added to that is the fell-good factor of knowing that you are raising much-needed operational funds for the Team!

For the last two years DWMRT have organised the Walk the Line overnight hike along the Dublin/Wicklow border. Run the Line was born out of the fact that some participants chose to run rather than hike, and so here we are! We look forward to seeing you on the day.
