Trail blazers trek Glendalough to fight blindness

Fighting Blindness has launched its sixth annual Glendalough Trail, taking place in Co. Wicklow on Saturday, October 31, at 11am. Open to all levels of fitness with 15.5km run and 10km jog/walk options. Over 300 embraced the challenge last year raising €17,000 to support research into finding cures and treatments for sight-loss. Trail Blazers to Trek Glendalough for Fighting Blindness

Irish research charity Fighting Blindness is calling on walkers, runners and joggers of all abilities to take to the hills of Wicklow’s spectacular Glendalough Valley this November 3rd in a bid to raise much needed funds. Now in its third year, the Glendalough Trail is a 15km off-road challenge along stunning forest trails through the Wicklow Mountains National Park.
