Take the XL Challenge and climb Ireland’s highest Mountains

The XL challenge will take place on the weekend of 27th – 29th April 2012. It involves climbing 4 of Ireland’s highest mountains. On the Friday we will climb Mount Brandon. Mount Brandon is 3,123 ft high and is situated near Dingle in co. Kerry. On Saturday we are climbing Irelands highest mountain Carrauntoohill. Carrauntoohill, near Killarney, is 3,406 ft high. Sunday will be a real test. In the morning we are climbing Galtymore (3,015ft) on the Limerick – Tipperary border. Then in the afternoon we will head to Wicklow to complete the challenge with a climb of Lugnaquilla (3,035ft).

The XL Challenge is raising money to build a school in Tanzania. Participants will have to pay for their own accommodation and other expenses during the challenge. Places are limited so early booking is advised. Early booking will also give you more time to train for this great event. More information is available on www.XLChallenge.ie email: wkeane@bwg.ie.

This will be an exciting team building challenge with the possibility of great rewards in personal achievement in supporting the building of this Tanzanian school.
