Time to stop talking and get walking!

SheepsheadBantry Walking Festival returns for its second year this June Bank Holiday Weekend with walks on Saturday May 31st and Sunday June 1st.

This year the festival will be launched in the Bantry Tourist Office on Friday May 30th from 7pm-9pm with all welcome. The festival caters to all levels of walkers; from the experienced hill walker scaling the Beara Way to the casual stroller meandering around the historic Whiddy Island. Information on all walks and online booking is available from www.bantrywalkingfestival.com. Registration will be taking place on from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 24th May as well as one the days of walks in the Bantry Tourist Office in The Old Courthouse, Wolfe Tone Sq.

Walks are priced at €25 for A & B Walks and €15 for C Walks, which includes all bus transfers from Wolfe Tone Sq. Pre-registration is recommended to aid in the organising of the bus transfers.
